I’ve been quiet on the blog lately — life’s been life-ing — but I wanted to drop in with a few random things I’m fully obsessed with right now. No rhyme or reason, just a few things I’ve been hooked on this week that deserve a little shout out.
1. My Windowsill Romaine (She’s Thriving)

I stuck the end of a romaine head in a glass of water on my windowsill as an experiment… and now? I’ve basically got a salad bar growing in my kitchen. I can’t believe how fast it’s growing — truly the main character in my kitchen right now. I threw in a scallion a couple days ago and you can already see the growth on that too!
2. LMNT Watermelon Electrolytes

I’ve been adding these to my water every morning and it’s like my brain wakes up before I finish the glass. The watermelon flavor hits so good and honestly I drink more water now just because I’m looking forward to it. Try it for yourself.
3. My $3 Thrifted Lee® Cropped Tee

This tee is it. Thick knit, cropped just right, with that classic Lee label sewn near the hem. I found it thrifting for like three bucks and haven’t stopped wearing it since. It gives vintage but not in a trying-too-hard way.
4. DIY Café Vibes at Home
Lately, I’ve been making iced coffee drinks at home and serving them up in plastic to-go cups with lids and black straws — because why not pretend I run my own café? I use Nescafé Gold Espresso (don’t knock it, it’s so good), and I’m even thinking about making custom cup stickers for my “café.”
Now I’m stocking up on smoothie ingredients and planning to take morning requests from the kids. We’re about to turn this into a full-blown café operation for the summer. Might need some cute aprons…
5. Dollar Tree Contour Sticks That Actually Slay

These L.A. Colors contour sticks are $1.25! Creamy, blendable, and shockingly good. I use both “Tan” and “Medium” and they’ve officially made their way into my forever makeup stash.
Also: I know my older two would cringe if they heard me say “slay” — which is exactly why I do it. I throw in a “bro” or “bet” while I’m at it just to get a reaction. It’s honestly one of my favorite hobbies at this point.
Just a few things making my week better. More randomness coming soon.
