2. Potential Interference: Wireless systems can experience interference from nearby metal objects or sloping yards, which may impact the reliability of the boundary. Thankfully, we haven’t encountered these issues, but it’s worth considering when evaluating the best option for your specific needs.
3. Power Dependence: One potential drawback of the PetSafe Wireless Fence is its dependence on electricity to function. Since the transmitter needs to be plugged into a power source, any power outages will render the system inoperable. This could be a concern for pet owners in areas prone to power outages or severe weather conditions. To mitigate this risk, it’s crucial to monitor weather forecasts and have a backup plan in place for such occasions. Additionally, investing in a backup power source or a battery-powered alternative may be worth considering for those who prioritize uninterrupted pet containment.

Our Experience
